Christmas Wish

Help make a family’s Christmas merry and bright!

Our mission partners serve some incredible families and we have the chance to help by providing gifts for two Christmas stores in the Indianapolis-area!

LifeBridge is an after school program in Beech Grove Schools that provides Christ-centered community for students from elementary to high school. Each year they host Operation Bright Christmas, a Christmas store shopping experience for low-income parents of LifeBridge students and other parents in the district. If you're also interested in volunteering for the event on Saturday, December 10, sign up here

Franklin Township Learning Center, a new partnership to The Creek, builds relationships and skills with those with special needs. We will offer two simultaneous Christmas stores on our campus alongside this partner on Saturday, December 3. One shopping experience empowers parents to choose gifts for their children, and another is for the children to shop for their parents. Sign up to serve at this event

What we can do:
1. After picking up a scratch-off card on Sunday, November 6, scratch off the present to reveal the age and gender of a child (or parent!) to buy for. Or click here for a virtual scratch-off card.
 2. Go shopping in person and return or ship your new, unwrapped gift to the church building and place it in one of bins by each entrance. If you don’t want to shop in person, we have two Amazon Wish lists, shop the list for kids or shop the list for adults. Both have our address listed so you can ship it right to The Creek. Please keep gift cost at or below $25.

Return or ship gifts to the Creek between November 6-23. Thanks for making Christmas for these families extra special this year!

*In recent years, we've hosted A Very Perry Christmas for low-income parents in Perry Township. The relationships and opportunities have shifted within this partnership and won't include a Christmas experience this year. If you'd like to learn more about what those opportunities look like or how to serve, email loricarter@thecreek.org.
